Nagpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the Indian Science Conference in Nagpur today through video. This year’s Indian Science Congress will begin tomorrow in Nagpur, Maharashtra.
Every year the Indian Science Conference is held where the leading scientists, researchers and educators of the country participate. The conference has not been held for the last 2 years due to the restrictions on the spread of the Corona virus infection. In this case, today (January 3) is the 108th Indian National Day in Nagpur
Veal conference is about to begin. This conference is going to be held for 5 days till January 7th. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the conference through a video presentation.
The conference is based on the concept of ‘Science and Technology for Sustainable Development with Empowerment of Women’. It has been revealed that the conference will discuss various issues like sustainable development, empowerment of women and the role of science and technology in achieving these.
Scientists, professors and researchers from scientific research universities and institutes across the country will participate in the conference. A children’s science conference will also be held in conjunction with the conference. Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari, Jitendra Singh and Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will participate in the inaugural function.
