More than half of Russians (60%) plan to spend up to 50 thousand rubles at the beginning of the summer season, 15% – from 50 thousand to 100 thousand rubles, 8% – from 100 thousand to 150 thousand rubles. This is evidenced by the data of a survey conducted by the online hypermarket VseInstrumenty.ru.
It is specified that 1564 residents of all regions of Russia over 18 years old took part in the study.
“43% of respondents say that the amount they planned to spend at the beginning of the summer season is less than last year. For 36%, expenses remained virtually unchanged. But 22% of summer residents will spend more than last season, ”the authors of the study clarify.
In addition, data are provided according to which, in preparation for the summer season, in the first place, every second Russian (55%) is purchased by seeds, soil and consumables. 31% are engaged exclusively in planning landings on the site. Another 16% are trying to buy all the necessary equipment and tools before the start of increased demand. 15% said they had already planted all the seedlings. Every tenth (10%) purchases building and finishing materials for the repair of a country house and outbuildings.
“The most popular works that summer residents planned for this season were planting crops (59%), arranging a barbecue area (21%) and a swimming pool (19%), repairing a country house (10%), as well as arranging a warm bathroom (7% ) and the construction of a country house (7%). Another 6% of the respondents will conduct water, sewerage and gasification to the site, ”the report on the results of the study says.
It is also noted that a quarter of Russians (25%) this year will increase the area under crops. Of these, 27% will plant more potatoes, 26% – tomatoes, 25% – cucumbers, 24% – beets, 23% – berries and fruits. Another 19% said that this year they will plant more greens, 18% – cabbage, 17% – pepper.
On March 24, the chairman of the Union of Summer Residents of the Moscow Region, a State Duma deputy from United Russia, Nikita Chaplin, called Izvestia the most profitable way to get seedlings. In particular, he noted that many experienced summer residents prefer to grow seedlings on their own and on an industrial scale. According to him, this is a much more economical way than buying ready-made seedlings on the market.
