The Saudi stock market rose in trading today, Monday, towards the level of 14,000 points, touching its highest level since 2006.
The main index of the Saudi stock market “TASI” rose 0.76%, equivalent to 104.7 points, to the level of 13925.05 points.
The value of trading reached about 5.12 billion riyals through trading on about 96.05 million shares.
The prices of 110 shares rose, compared to a decline of 83 out of a total of 215 listed companies.
The rise in shares was led by “Atheeb Telecom” share by 9.98% at a price of 55.1 riyals, followed by the share of ACWA Power by 4.67% at a price of 147.8 riyals.
At the level of declining shares, “Sadarat” share led the declines by 6.26% at a price of 404 riyals, followed by “SALAMA” share by 4.67% at a price of 13 riyals.
The shares of Al-Rajhi Bank topped the trading values and volumes by about 893.18 million riyals, through trading on 7.72 million shares, after rising by 1.78% at a price of 114.2 riyals.
