There have already been two earthquakes in Kamchatka this week. The last time tremors were recorded on January 12, at about 3:30 Moscow time (about 12:30 local time).
According to the Kamchatka branch of the Federal Research Center “Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences”, the epicenter of the earthquake was 175 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky in the Pacific Ocean. The depth of the focus is 49 km, the magnitude is 4.6.
Prior to this, tremors were recorded in Kamchatka on January 11, and several times: 26 km from the village of Nikolskoye, 85, 112, 120 km from Severo-Kurilsk and 112 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The magnitude ranged from 3.6 to 4, according to news agency KamchatkaMedia.
Earlier it was reported that two meters of the Great Wall of China collapsed in an earthquake that occurred on Saturday, January 8, in the Chinese province of Qinghai.
