The start of the second period of registration of players

Today, at nine o’clock in the morning, the second period of registration for “winter” players for the 2022-2023 sports season began, which will extend until Wednesday, corresponding to February 8th. Players in the first team in professional clubs, first-class clubs, second and third-division teams, and youth teams for the 2022-2023 football season are subject to registration during this period.

The Players’ Status and Transfers Committee of the Emirates Football Association had previously set the first registration period from July 13, 2022 to October 4, 2022, while the second period will be from January 11 to February 8, 2023. It is worth noting that club requests during the first “summer” registration period amounted to 1,274 requests, including 55 substitution cases, 58 player loans within the country, 10 player transfer cases within the country, 1087 player registrations, and 64 registration records.
