In the Moscow region, a man was suspected of killing a nine-year-old boy while demonstrating fighting techniques with a knife. This was announced on Sunday, February 5, in the Main Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region.
The incident occurred on Saturday, February 4, in Balashikha near Moscow. A 47-year-old man, in a state of alcoholic intoxication, demonstrated fighting techniques to the son of a neighbor in a communal apartment using knives and in the process inflicted a serious wound on the boy.
According to Izvestia, the incident occurred in the apartment of one of the houses on Sovetskaya Street. At the time of the murder, the boy was in a room with a 47-year-old man. The latter stated that the child allegedly fell on the penknife himself. At the same time, the knife was stuck in the chest of the child. The man claimed to have pulled the knife from the child’s chest. The boy died on the spot from his wounds.
Investigators have detained a man, according to the site kp.ru. All the circumstances of the incident are being established, relatives and neighbors are being interrogated, writes Life.ru. A criminal case has been opened on the fact of the incident under the article on the murder of a minor, reports the Federal News Agency.
An inspection is also being carried out in relation to prevention agencies, an inspection has been organized for the proper fulfillment of duties to control a dysfunctional family, the 360 TV channel notes.
The investigation is under the control of the prosecutor’s office, which has begun its check, RIAMO reports. During it, during which an assessment will be given to compliance with the legislation on minors.
