Earlier, PM Modi received blessings from Madurai Atheenam, Thiruvavaduthurai Atheenam and Mayiladuthurai Darumapuram Atheenam. Prime Minister Modi then discussed with Adeenas.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that the scepter may be installed in the Lok Sabha chamber of the new Parliament between 8:30 am and 9 am tomorrow.
PM Modi speech: Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Modi said, “I salute and greet you all. I am fortunate that you have come to my residence. With the blessings of Lord Shiva, I have got the opportunity to have darshan of you who are devotees of Shiva.
It would have been better if the holy scepter had been given due respect and a place of honor after independence. But this scepter is on display as a walking stick at Prayagraj Anand Bhavan. Your ‘servant’ and our government have brought the scepter out of Ananda Bhavan.
I am happy that the scepter, a symbol of India’s great heritage, will be installed in the new Parliament building. This scepter will continue to remind us to walk the path of duty and answer to the public.
The more united India is, the stronger it will be. Those who create obstacles in our path to development will present various challenges. Those who cannot tolerate India’s progress will try to break our unity. But I believe that the strength of spirituality that the nation is getting for your organizations will help us face all the challenges.”
The opening ceremony of the new Parliament will be held at the Parliament complex tomorrow at 12 noon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the new Parliament in the presence of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. Members of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, Union Ministers, State Chief Ministers, Union Territory in-charges etc. have been invited to participate in the function.
The most important feature of this ceremony is that the scepter presented by Thiruvavaduthurai Adeenam was handed over to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the scepter presentation ceremony held to symbolize the country’s independence, and it has been informed that the scepter is going to be installed on top of the Lok Sabha Speaker’s seat. In view of this, 19 pioneers including Thiruvavaduthurai Atheenam, Madurai Atheenam and Darumapura Atheenam of Tamil Nadu have gone to Delhi. They were accompanied by traditional musicians who flew to Delhi in a separate flight.
