The Emirates Tennis Federation announced the opening of a group of its new stadiums in the Al Jaddaf area in Dubai, with the support of the Ministry of Sports.
The new sports facility aims to provide a model and supportive sports environment for practicing tennis, enhance sports investment opportunities, and attract financial resources.
The Board of Directors of the Tennis Federation, headed by His Highness Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, praised the distinguished support and care from the Ministry of Sports, and its strategy aimed at promoting the dissemination of the culture of sports in a sustainable and effective manner, and in a way that contributes to supporting the sport of tennis specifically, appreciating the follow-up and support of Sheikh Suhail bin Butti Al. Maktoum, Executive Director of the Sports Development Sector at the General Sports Authority.
His Highness Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum stressed that the new stadiums will contribute significantly to implementing the Tennis Federation’s vision, which aims for UAE tennis to be at the forefront of federations around the world by providing high-level services that strengthen the federation’s relationship with the International Federation of the Game.
For his part, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tennis Federation, Ahmed Abdul-Malik Ahli, confirmed that the new courts will provide valuable opportunities for players of all ages to practice tennis and develop their talents.
