The Emirates Tennis Federation announced that it will organize three international youth tournaments at the start of the current season, under the supervision of the International Tennis Federation, during the period from January 6 to 25, with the participation of 360 male and female players from various countries of the world, with 120 male and female players in each tournament, and all of them will be in the world rankings. The beginning will be in the Emirate of Fujairah, which will host on the 6th of this month the 15th edition of the Fujairah International Youth Championship, which will be held at the Fujairah Tennis Club, while the 22nd edition of the Dubai International Youth Championship will be held on January 13th, followed immediately by the third edition of the Emirates International Youth Championship, both of which will be held at the “Top Spin” Academy in Dubai.
For his part, Secretary-General of the Tennis Federation, Nasser Al Marzouqi, described the holding of the three tournaments with the new classification as reflecting the deliberate steps of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Tennis Federation, headed by His Highness Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, in strengthening cooperation with the International Federation to develop the sport of tennis, and spreading it locally and internationally.
