In Krasnoyarsk, within the framework of the All-Russian Ecological Subbotnik “Green Spring”, the territory of the Chernaya Sopka was cleared. This is reported by the regional Ministry of Ecology.
According to the department, a place popular among citizens was cleared of 500 liters of garbage. Activists collected bottles, paper and disposable plastic utensils thrown by tourists, writes IA KrasnoyarskMedia.
“Abandoned garbage causes irreparable damage to nature. Abandoned paper, plastic, glass harm not only the animal world – it is a potential threat of forest fires, ”explained the Minister of Ecology Pavel Borzykh and urged the inhabitants of the region to clean up their garbage and protect nature.
In total, 25 specially protected natural areas are planned to be cleared in the region. Among them are the Shush River, Krivinsky Forest, Ingol Lake, Aidashenskaya Cave, Svyatoye Lake, as well as the Kebezhsky, Kemsky, Khabyksky nature reserves and other places.
