The campaign shared a video of a group of people collecting money in a heap and putting it in a box. The footage was discussed on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube platforms.
Where did the posts appear from?
On January 26, 2024, Gopakumar shared a video from the ID of Sri Appacheri stating that the treasury of Ayodhya will be full by the middle of the day. After this, this video was shared by many people.
What is the authenticity of the video?
The truth came out when the social media campaigns that crores fell into the temple’s treasure box within days of allowing devotees to visit Ayodhya. The video circulating as Video from Ram Temple was found to be from somewhere else. The video footage from Sri Sanwariya Seth Temple in Rajasthan was circulated in the name of Ayodhya. An Instagram account named sanwaliya_seth_1007 claims that the footage is from Rajasthan. The title of the video says that 12 crore 69 lakh rupees have been received from the show van. It is said that this time a record amount of 12 crore 69 lakh rupees has been received as donation.
How to find the truth?
It is clear that the circulating video footage has nothing to do with Ayodhya after searching and checking Google using different keywords. The dedication ceremony was held on January 22 at the Ram Temple. But the video that is being circulated is dated January 16. In another inspection, news was received that the temple officials said that 12 crore 69 lakh rupees had been recovered. With this, it was found that what is being circulated is from Sri Sanwariya Seth Temple in Rajasthan and has no connection with Ayodhya.
