The AFC explained on its official website that the UAE national team, which has already qualified for the third round of the joint qualifiers by topping the Group Eight standings with 12 points from 4 matches, is followed in the standings by the Bahrain national team with 9 points, and needs one point to advance to the third stage of the qualifiers. Then the Yemeni national team, which has 3 points and a limited chance of qualifying, pointing out that the Bahrain and Yemeni national teams will meet at the Bahrain National Stadium in the Riffa Club next Thursday.
