The Emirates team won the 2023 Dubai Silver Cup Polo Championship, after defeating the “AM” team, 10 to 9, in the final match that brought them together at the Al Habtoor Polo and Equestrian Club and Resort the day before yesterday. The tournament was held as part of the Dubai Gold Cup series, in its 13th edition, in which 5 teams participated in the 20-gole Handicap for the first time.
In the consolation cup match, the Habtoor Evza team defeated its rival, Dubai Wolves Cafu, 7 to 6, after a strong and exciting match. Her Highness Sheikha Maitha bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE team leader, praised the organization of the tournament and the technical level, especially for the two teams competing for the title in the final.
