Deputies of “United Russia” will annually report on the implementation of the people’s program of the party to the citizens. This was announced on Tuesday, September 14, by the Secretary of the General Council of the United Russia, First Vice-Speaker of the Federation Council Andrei Turchak during a meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with members of the government and representatives of the party.
“The State Duma of the next convocation has a lot to do, including within the framework of work on the budget, so that all program settings, provisions of the people’s program receive financial support and are implemented. And here the future United Russia faction has a special role and special responsibility, ”the press service of the United Russia quoted Turchak as saying.
He drew attention to the fact that the deputies of “United Russia” together with the government of the Russian Federation will be able to implement everything that is included in the party’s popular program.
During the meeting, the head of state said that many decisions on the development of Russia, strengthening its economy and social sphere were initiated by the United Russia party. According to him, some of these proposals are already being implemented.
One of the proposals of “United Russia” is the launch of free connection of citizens to gas. The fact that Russia will connect gas to the site free of charge, Putin said during his message to the Federal Assembly on April 21, thereby supporting this initiative of the party.
On June 11, the head of state signed a law on a free gas pipeline to the borders of land plots. The document introduces the institution of a unified gasification operator, which will become the owner of the unified gas supply system, that is, Gazprom. In the same regions where the company is not present, a regional gasification operator will appear.
At the same time, on September 14, “United Russia” submitted to the State Duma a bill on the abolition of the mandatory technical inspection procedure for personal vehicles. Turchak previously noted that if the amendments are adopted, car owners will voluntarily decide whether to apply for an inspection.
Elections to the State Duma of the VIII convocation will be held from 17 to 19 September. The Duma is elected for five years under a mixed electoral system: 225 deputies are elected from party lists, another 225 – from single-mandate constituencies in one round.
