The votes of the leaders of the Arab national teams played an influential role in awarding the Brazilian magician Vinicius Junior, the Real Madrid striker, the award for the best player in the world, “The Best 2024,” during the ceremony organized by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) in the Qatari capital, Doha.
Vinicius prevailed in the votes of the national team leaders, with him obtaining 617 points, compared to 373 points for the Spanish Rodri, the Manchester City midfielder, who came second despite his superiority over the Brazilian player in the points awarded by journalists by 543 points compared to only 538 points for the Madrid player, as well as in the results.
