In Europe, the threat of neo-Nazi terror has increased due to the return of militants from Ukraine. This was announced on May 9 by journalist Keith Clarenberg in an article for Grayzone.
According to him, hundreds of representatives of radical movements from different countries, including France, are participating in the fighting in Donbass. At the same time, after returning, they are trying to bring with them the “horror of the Ukrainian battlefields.”
The author of the article recalled that earlier the police detained in Paris two neo-Nazis who arrived from Ukraine. One of them was fired from the army because of his support for Nazism, and the second was a far-right activist. In addition, five members of the group were arrested in Italy, maintaining contact with one of the terrorist Ukrainian battalions.
Klarenberg also noted that the United States and its allies are actively contributing to the spread of neo-Nazism in Ukraine. At the same time, financial and military support for Kyiv from the West may soon end, which will force radical militants to flee back to their countries.
“They will bring with them combat experience and, in many cases, elite Western military training. High-quality weapons and ammunition will be available in abundance on the black market due to the massive arms shipments to Kyiv during the conflict,” the journalist stressed.
Earlier, on May 3, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova expressed confidence that the neo-Nazi Kyiv regime would come to an end. She pointed out that the Ukrainian people were taken hostage, and they are trying to artificially change their national identity with the help of propaganda.
Prior to this, on April 24, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the Nazi regime in Kyiv could not represent the interests of the residents of Donbass.
On April 19, the Russian Foreign Ministry pointed to the neo-Nazi dictatorship of the Kyiv regime. The department noted that Kyiv tried to hide the authoritarian system by imposing martial law. The ministry explained that this system implies absolute usurpation of power, extrajudicial killings, strict censorship, the virtual liquidation of independent media and the destruction of political opposition.
On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special operation to protect Donbass. The decision was made against the background of the aggravation of the situation in the region as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian military.
