Olesya, the wife of a man who attacked a passerby with a knife during a conflict over a barking dog in Zvenigorod, said that she learned about the incident from social networks, where a video of the attack was distributed. The woman spoke to Izvestia on Saturday, September 23.
She noted that she was shocked by what happened. At the same time, Olesya clarified that she had not communicated with her husband for several weeks due to a domestic quarrel.
The couple met at the police station, where the man, according to Olesya, himself came to confess.
“He came there himself. Investigators and police know this. He has written a statement of guilt,” she clarified.
At the same time, the woman claims that her husband was not aggressive. Olesya admitted that the reason for her husband’s behavior could be their family quarrel.
The murder occurred on the evening of September 22 in the 3rd microdistrict of the city. A passerby got into a verbal altercation with a couple, reportedly over a barking dog, and then hit the woman. Her husband stood up for her and was stabbed to death by the attacker.
The victim was hospitalized while still alive, but he died in the hospital, the Mash Telegram channel specified. The attacker was detained.
