Community Skill Centers will be established in all 140 constituencies: Minister Dr. R. the point
Minister of Higher Education said that community skill centers will be established in one hundred and forty constituencies in the near future. R. Bindu said. The Minister was speaking while inaugurating the Electric Vehicle Center of Excellence set up at ASAP Kerala Kunnanthanam Community Skill Park. ASAP is a prestigious institution of Higher Education Department of Kerala. ASAP is an organization that works to provide professional skills not only in educational institutions but also in the general society. Environmentally friendly electric vehicles are becoming a comfort to people. It is essential to mold the youth skilled in electric vehicles. Linkage with educational institutions and industries will be strengthened as part of solving unemployment. Kerala will be transformed into a new knowledge society. The minister said that developing the skills of children to operate electric vehicles is a duty given by time.
Adv. Mathew T Thomas MLA said that ASAP has become the need of the country. The MLA was speaking while presiding over the inauguration of the Electric Vehicle Center of Excellence set up at Community Skill Park by ASAP Kerala Kunnanthanam. ASAP’s contemporary importance is given by the change that comes in view of new challenges and opportunities. Education today does not end with the knowledge acquired in classrooms. It is only when they are applied at a practical level that education becomes useful. The MLA said that the economy grows when there are new enterprises.
Anto Antony MP said that Electric Vehicle Center of Excellence is a project that also fulfills social responsibility. The MP said that the Electric Vehicle Center of Excellence is a new beginning in the journey of electric vehicle operations. With the financial assistance of the Scheduled Castes Development Department, ASAP under the Higher Education Department has set up an Electric Vehicle Center of Excellence at the Community Skill Park in Kerala Kunnanthanam. In the context of the increasing use of electric vehicles, the project aims to make the youth and workers working in the automotive sector skilled in this, create employment opportunities and prevent job loss. Imperial Society of Innovative Engineers India will be the technical partners for this center with the industrial participation of MG Motors and Hero Electric.
