Commission Chairperson P Sate Devi said that a report has been sought from the Malappuram District Police Chief regarding the abusive speech. Sate Devi pointed out that Veena George is a woman who has gained public support by making strong interventions in her career. Sate Devi added that the expression ‘tool’ in Shaji’s statement illustrates the way he sees women.
