New Delhi. The relationship between cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife Dhanashree Verma has turned sour. Amid divorce rumours, both have unfollowed each other on Instagram. Yuzvendra has also deleted all the pictures with Dhanashree. Dhanashree has unfollowed Yuzvendra but has not removed his pictures.
Sources have said that the divorce rumors are true. Sources said, ‘The divorce is final, only a formal announcement is yet to be made.’ The real reason for separation is not clear yet, but both have decided to separate. These news started in 2023 when Dhanashree Verma removed ‘Chahal’ from her Instagram name. A day later, Yuzvendra posted a mysterious Instagram story, in which it was written, ‘A new life is beginning.’ At that time Yuzvendra Chahal had issued a note dismissing these rumours.
He had told his fans not to believe such rumors nor spread them. Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree were married on 11 December 2020. In Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11, Dhanashree Verma had told about her love story. He said, ‘No matches were taking place during the lockdown and all the cricketers were getting bored sitting at home. During that time, one day Yuji decided to learn dance.
He had seen my dance videos on social media. I (Dhanashree Verma) used to teach dance earlier. He approached me to learn dance. I agreed. Yuzvendra Chahal is currently out of Team India. He was part of the team that won the T20 World Cup 2024 but did not get a chance to play a single match.
