On the occasion of Sankranti, TSRTC and APSRTC are running a huge number of special buses. However, the TSRTC officials are taking special measures to get the passengers going home for Sankranthi to their destinations quickly. As part of that, TSRTC has written a letter to the National Highways Authority of India, Telangana Roads and Buildings Department seeking to establish a separate lane for TSRTC buses at the toll plazas. With the agreement of the two departments, a separate lane will be allocated for TSRTC buses at the toll plazas.
Sankranti is very busy at the toll plaza. Have to wait few hours. By allocating a special line to TSRTC, the problem of waiting for hours at toll plazas will be avoided for those traveling by buses. This helps to reach the destinations quickly. From 12th to 14th of this month, a special line will be allocated for TSRTC buses at the toll plazas. RTC will make staff available in three shifts at all tollgates. At the toll plazas, steps will be taken to ensure that the RTC buses are dispatched quickly to a dedicated lane so that they do not face any problem.
TSRTC is suggesting to people that instead of going in private vehicles and getting in trouble at the toll plazas, reach your areas quickly in RTC buses. TSRTC has increased the number of special buses this time compared to last year for Sankranti. 4,233 buses will now run. Also APSRTC will run 6400 special buses for Sankranti.
