Man breathes through the nose, but only the inner lungs help in breathing. If its function is good, the person will also be healthy. The air around us consists of many elements. It also contains oxygen and carbon dioxide.
All together we take in through the nose in the process of breathing. Our lungs mainly take in only oxygen and filter carbon dioxide out of the body.
This is a continuous process and the lungs have to do it. But if the lung becomes infected and starts to fill with water, the lung cell becomes completely blocked and damaged. An infection of the lungs is called pneumonia.
