Seven bodies were found by police on a property in the small town of Henryetta, Oklahoma, when officers were looking for two girls and a convicted rapist at the house where he lived.
Everything indicates that among the bodies are those of both teenagers, Ivy Webster, 14, and Brittany Brewer, 16, as well as that of Jesse McFadden, 39, convicted of first-degree rape in 2003 and released in October 2020.
The teenagers had gone to the McFaddens’ house and were due to return Sunday night, local TV reported, citing the father of one of them.
The dead may also include family members of McFadden, Okmulgee County Sheriff Eddy Rice said, albeit with the caveat that none of the victims had yet been formally identified by the area medical examiner.
Brittany Brewer’s father confirmed on local KOTV television in Tulsa that one of the bodies discovered was his daughter’s. “Brittany was an outgoing person. She was selected to be Miss Henryetta, in July, and now she’s not going to make it because she’s dead. She’s gone,” said Nathan Brewer.

As reported by KOTV, citing Nathan Brewer himself, Brittany had gone to spend the weekend with the McFadden family and should have returned home on Sunday night, the Reuters agency reported.
County authorities issued an amber alert early Monday for the disappearance of Britany and Ivy along with the sex offender, with whom a witness had seen them in a vehicle. The notice was soon cancelled, as investigators soon found the seven bodies on the McFadden property.
The rapist had to appear Monday in a trial for possession of child pornography and for sending sexual messages to a minor
McFadden was due to appear in court on Monday in a jury trial for possession of child pornography and for sending sexual messages to a minor via cell phone while still in jail.
In an event unrelated to this, which occurred in the neighboring city that gives its name to the county, Okmulgee, just 22 kilometers from Henryetta, the bodies of four men were found on October 14 in the Deep Fork River. A 68-year-old man, Joseph Kennedy, is accused of the quadruple murder.
