Wolves went to Grudziądz with an eight-point advance from the first meeting (at home they won 49:41). GKM, however, entered the match very well and after the fourth race there was a tie in aggregate. Equally quickly, the Grudziądz team built their advantage. The visitors only started to score better towards the end. – It wasn’t bad, but we wanted to go better. We were a bit off-putting at the start because we were doing well on the course. This start was very difficult – assessed Vaclav Milik.
The performance of the Czech was questionable, because a few days earlier he took part in a crash with Krzysztof Kasprzak. – I am glad that I finished the match in Grudziądz with a three-pointer. I feel bad after this incident. I’m going to take a break to rest now, everything hurts,” he added.
Milik: We’re not laying down our arms
Home games against Platinum Motor and Fogo Unia await Krosno, as well as a trip to Toruń. – I will say this – We still have a lot of games to play and we’re definitely not giving up. We want to keep fighting and fight even with the best. Now a team from Lublin is coming to us. It will not be easy, but GKM Grudziądz won at home with them and with a large advantage. We have to adapt to the track and fight – said the rider.
They are fighting for the world championship. They earn pennies
The newcomer may regret that no prey was taken from Grudziądz. At the end of the competition Wolves showed that they can. – The track was dry and hard and the start was harrowed. We adapted to the route, then we had to redo everything, because without starting on this track there is not much you can do. You can swing wide, but it didn’t quite work in this match – noted Milik.
The Wolves – Motor match is coming this Friday at 18:00. The hosts will go with a knife at their throats, and the visitors will fight for second place at the end of the main round. In this duel, they have a two-point advantage over Włókniarz.
