However, her condition noticeably worsened after the procedure, as she experienced intense pain and severe swelling in the treated area, as well as complications in her leg.
According to Cinthia Vigil’s testimony, these adverse reactions were a consequence of the polymer applied by the doctor and she noted that Dr. Fong did not adequately inform her about the risks associated with the treatment.

When Cinthia Vigil confronted Dr. Fong about the terrible situation she was experiencing, he admitted having forgotten to warn her about the dangers of undergoing a lipotransfer and even stated that “he forgot” to tell her this risk, which is why it caused all the pain. that the designer experienced after the intervention.
“But what happened? Why didn’t you say that a lipotransfer couldn’t be done? Did it happen to you? Did it happen to you at this moment? Like it can happen to all of us too. You told me it had already happened with a patient, why didn’t you tell me?” Cinthia asked in a recorded conversation with the doctor. Faced with these claims, Dr. Fong simply managed to say that: “That was a mistake… Well, yes, well, it happened, right?”.
