The announcer Julius Caesar from Nueva Q radio, provided detailed information about the death of the youngest daughter of the founder of the orchestra, during Edwin Sierra’s radio program.
The announcer also reported that he was in the same clinic and witnessed the deep pain of the Chunga Antón family after the loss of their beloved sister. Milagros Chunga, being the only female child in the family, represented an emotional pillar for everyone.

Announcer Julio César shared information about the death of Milagros Chunga from Piura. According to the announcer’s testimony, Milagros’ health problems began with a severe flu that quickly escalated into medical complications.
“Starting on January 1, around 10:00 am, Milagros’ health was not good. She was urgently transferred from Sechura to a clinic in Piura, but unfortunately she arrived without vital signs. The doctors couldn’t do anything to save her,” explained Julio César.

The official announcement was made through the group’s social networks, in which they also announced the suspension of all their presentations until further notice. Milagros Chunga, who inspired the name of the orchestra, died due to cardiorespiratory arrest after serious health complications.

The group La Única Tropical shared an emotional statement on their social networks after the loss. “With great sadness, we regret to report the death of our sister Milagros Chunga. We love you, Milagritos. You will always be with us being ‘The Only One’. Rest in peace,” they expressed, moving their followers.
Currently, Milagros Chunga’s remains are laid to rest at the Los Rosales recreational center, where she lived with her mother for 27 years. His funeral will be held on January 3, but before that, at 11:00 am, a special tribute will be paid to him in the same place.
