While Saudi Arabia continues its efforts to evacuate nationals from Sudan, His Majesty the King’s ship “Riyadh” of the Royal Saudi Navy arrived in Jeddah.
Al-Arabiya / Al-Hadath correspondent stated that the ship arrived at the Bride of the Red Sea, carrying 220 people of 5 nationalities, including 14 Saudi citizens, about 91 American citizens, three Canadians, and others from South Sudan and Yemen.
For its part, the US State Department announced that the US Consulate in Jeddah had received more than 350 Americans from Sudan.
Yesterday, Monday, the ship of His Majesty the King “Abha” arrived at the King Faisal Naval Base in Jeddah, carrying 41 Saudi citizens and 171 people from the following countries: (Afghanistan, the Philippines, the Comoros, Sri Lanka, Ukraine, Madagascar, the United Kingdom, Syria and the United States of America). ).
Saudi Arabia has also been keen to provide all the basic needs of nationals of brotherly and friendly countries, in preparation for facilitating their departure to their homelands.
In continuation of the efforts made by the Kingdom, under the directives of the wise leadership, in evacuating its citizens and nationals of brotherly and friendly countries from Sudan, 14 Saudi citizens and 206 nationals of brotherly and friendly countries arrived today via His Majesty’s ship “Riyadh” to Jeddah.

This brings the total of those evacuated from Sudan since the start of the evacuations to about 5,629 people, belonging to 102 nationalities, including 239 Saudi citizens, according to what the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said today, Tuesday, through its Twitter account.
This comes as a continuation of the efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the directives of the leadership, in evacuating its citizens and nationals of brotherly and friendly countries from the Republic of Sudan to Saudi Arabia.
