Thieves are roaring at the district hospital in Madanapalle, Chittoor district. Even if two-wheelers are parked on the hospital premises, patients are still eating when they bring their cell phones. At the same time, the bikes of the hospital doctors were stolen. When they complained to the police .. the case was registered and investigated.
A gang of thieves is committing a series of thefts at the Madanapalle Government Hospital. Two-wheelers and patients’ cell phones are being hoisted. Patients coming on two-wheelers from villages where there is no bus facility .. are parked on the hospital premises. Depending on the patient’s condition, they are treated and taken back on two-wheelers. Along with the bikes that came like this .. the helpers who came along with the patient are also stealing the cell phones.
BCHS Dr Suresh Reddy, who works at Madanapalle District Hospital, was robbed of his motorcycle, four days ago by a patient attendant and a dentist’s bike. Hospital superintendent Anjaneyu said four of the patients’ cell phones were also stolen. Madanapalle said he had lodged a complaint with the Twotown police in this regard. CCTV cameras will be set up in the hospital premises.
