We left 20 minutes earlier, more or less, we left first, while they (their companions) were getting ready, they left 20 to 25 minutes later (…) we were ahead and for God’s sake, we parked at a tap to buy coffee , buy things to get to Lima. In that 10-minute period, they passed us,” said the leader of International Grand Orchestra .
After recounting the moments before the accident, Christian Domínguez recalled how they experienced the tension as they continued on their way after stopping at the tap. Together with Karla Tarazona, they encountered a shocking scene that increased their concern, since in the darkness of the road they saw an overturned vehicle. “So, we have left the tap and we have advanced two kilometers and she (Karla Tarazona ) sees an overturned car in a very dark place, because he was on the road and there was an overturned car. There were people shining their cell phones, but, no, it wasn’t Dimas’s car,” he said.
