Gujarat Titans net bowler Thomas Jones bowled to Rohit Sharma in the nets ahead of Qualifier 2 in the ongoing IPL series. There were reports in the media that Rohit Sharma threw his ball and could not play it properly. Thomas Jones kept bowling to the players at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
Thomas Jones grew up in Kent in southern England. He has played in many academy cricket matches here. Then he went to Scotland for opportunities. Trained with Yorkshire and Durham. I met my girlfriend in Scotland. Covid has torn us apart. After a year I came here and married him.”
