The number of worshipers and pilgrims has reached more than (950) thousand worshipers and pilgrims daily since the beginning of Ramadan, thus raising the readiness in the pace of work for all presidential agencies.
Disinfection and sterilization
He said that the presidency will intensify cleansing and sterilization operations, as the Grand Mosque will be washed (10) daily, and it will be carried out by more than (4000) male and female workers, and each cleansing operation consumes more than (80 thousand) liters of disinfectants and (1600) liters of fresheners, Sterilization operations around the clock using approximately (15,000) liters. More than (70) field teams working 24 hours a day have been equipped to sterilize all sides of the Grand Mosque and its outer squares, with materials that have been chosen with great care, special, and environmentally friendly, and distributed more than ( 500) Automatic hand sanitizer with sensor feature.

The presidency also recruited more than (160) observers at the gates of the Grand Mosque during the Ramadan season, and opened (160) doors dedicated to receiving pilgrims and worshipers and directing them to the places designated for them.
The Presidency will work to intensify field tours around the clock to monitor any observations in the service, technical, engineering, directive and scientific aspects inside the Grand Mosque and its courtyards and work to address them in coordination with the concerned departments, in order to preserve the comfort and safety of those who visit the Sacred House of God.

In the field of operation and maintenance, the Presidency has provided more than (90) engineers and technicians from the national cadres in the Great Mosque of Mecca and its courtyards, which number more than (200) escalators and (14) elevators, as well as a sound system consisting of approximately (8000) speakers and ( 9) Loudspeakers, with the presence of a supervisory apparatus to ensure the implementation of all tasks and adherence to health and preventive instructions and procedures, and to ensure the sound of the imam, the muezzin, and the funeral procession before each imposition, in addition to conducting the necessary tests for all the sound system inside the Grand Mosque, its corridors and courtyards, supervised by a specialized team on these works to ensure that Implementation according to technical principles followed and making sure that they are free from any defects using the latest technologies. The number of fans is (2700) distributed inside the Sacred Mosque and Al-Sa’i, in addition to (304) chandeliers and approximately (120,000) lighting units.
And he stressed the need for worshipers and pilgrims to adhere to the etiquette and instructions of the Grand Mosque, within the framework of maximizing religious rituals and achieving tranquility, tranquility and reverence during the performance of worship.

It is forbidden to raise voices in the Sacred Mosque, and the leader must maintain calm during prayer, dhikr and supplications, and must pay attention to children and ensure their safety inside the Sacred Mosque, and not leave them without supervision.
