With the moments of sunset every day of the holy month of Ramadan, the fasting person’s iftar meal extends in the Prophet’s Mosque and the fasting people circle around it, and the fasting people live in a spiritual atmosphere when they eat their breakfast with dates and blessed Zamzam water.
And with the first days of the month of Ramadan, the fasting people lined up in opposite rows in front of the Iftar tables, waiting for the Maghrib call to prayer for everyone to eat their breakfast, while the Agency of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Prophet’s Mosque earlier approved 11 companies specialized in the field of nutrition that meet the conditions and specifications required for catering contractors to provide services. Iftar at the Prophet’s Mosque during the blessed month of Ramadan for this year 1444 AH.
The agency has also allocated, through its concerned departments, an intensive program concerned with following up the provision of Iftar services for fasting people in the Prophet’s Mosque, and taking into account everyone’s commitment to the standards and requirements required for food safety, maintaining the purification and cleanliness of the Prophet’s Mosque, and preparing it for worshipers and visitors.
The Agency of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Prophet’s Mosque works to provide the best services to visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque in safe and healthy ways, and in accordance with the highest quality standards in the safety of food provided to those fasting, in line with international requirements and standards.
