Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu has criticized that the YSR Congress government has completely failed to achieve the 7 backward districts of Andhra Pradesh as per the Partition Act. He flagged that Jagan’s government has completely failed in allocating funds for the Polavaram project, implementing the partition guarantees and obtaining funds for the construction of the capital. Chandrababu made interesting comments on the budget presented by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Wednesday.

Chandrababu said that India standing as the fifth economic power in the world is a good result. He said that there are central budget plans to sustain the agricultural and infrastructure sectors. However, many projects including Polavaram of Andhra Pradesh, lack of allocation to the state, he said, was a disappointment.

Chandrababu praised India’s economy, which was ranked 10th in the world in 2014. Now it has reached the fifth position. He said that he welcomed thinking towards the design of schemes and programs aimed at 2047. Farmers get Rs. He said that they welcome the allocation of Rs. 20 lakh crore agricultural loans, Rs. 79 thousand crores for housing construction and Rs. 6 thousand crores for aqua sector under the PM Awas Yojana scheme. He believes that investments of Rs. 75 thousand crores on 100 infrastructure projects in the transport sector will give the best results. He said that changes in the income tax slabs have been made to provide relief to wage earners.

However, Chandrababu stated that the lack of expected allocations for Andhra Pradesh state and state projects in the central budget was disappointing. He said that Rs.5,300 crore has been allocated in the central budget for the drought-stricken areas in Karnataka, but the package was to be given to 7 backward districts of AP but it was ignored.

Chandrababu said that this is the last budget for the implementation of Andhra Pradesh division promises. In this budget as well, what 31 YCP MPs have achieved in terms of the interests of the state. He criticized Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy and YCP MPs for completely throwing up their hands in putting pressure on the Center regarding projects and fund allocations. Chandrababu Duyya said that it has been proved that YCP MPs are only committed to their own cases and self-interests.
