This Wednesday a private jet owned by the Wagner Group crashed in the Russian region of Tver, north of Moscow. 10 people were traveling in it, and all of them would have lost their lives. According to the Federal Air Transport Agency, the name of Yevgeni Prigozhin, founder of the mercenary group, appears on the passenger list. However, no official source has yet confirmed that he actually got on the aircraft.
The damaged device, which was flying from the Moscow-Sheremetyevo airport to Saint Petersburg, is an Embraer Legacy 600. It is a luxurious jet with capacity for 14 passengers (distributed in three large cabin areas) and the capacity to make flights long radius.
The price of a new Embraer Legacy 600 model is approximately eight million euros. Its high cost is due to the fact that the plane has multiple amenities for its users.
