On Wednesday, October 18, the presidents of the Moroccan, Spanish and Portuguese federations are expected to discuss all the details related to the 2030 World Cup.
According to the Spanish newspaper AS, during this meeting, the stadiums that will host this football wedding will be discussed, in addition to dividing the number of matches according to each country.
The newspaper confirmed that there will also be talk in Rabat about the location of the opening and final of the 2030 World Cup.
His Majesty King Mohammed VI recently received, at the Royal Palace in Rabat, Faouzi Lakjaa, Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget and President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, and the King appointed him Chairman of the “2030 World Cup Committee.”
The Royal Court statement stated that this appointment comes after the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) Council unanimously approved the Morocco-Spain-Portugal bid as the sole candidacy to host the 2030 World Cup.
On this occasion, His Majesty the King, may God protect him, expressed the hope and will that the organization of this global demonstration be driven by a strong ambition based on a project capable of ensuring the great success of this session.
