It is known that North Korea (North Korea) has been worrying the world with a series of missile launches by Kim Jong Un for the past month. In this context, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un made interesting comments on the series of missile launches. Kim emphasized that their ultimate goal is to have the most powerful nuclear weapons capability in the world. Kim recently congratulated the military officers who were part of the test of the largest intercontinental ballistic missile Haswang-17. The official media KCNA said on Sunday that the president made this comment on the occasion. Kim was once again seen with her second daughter at this official event.
‘We are building nuclear weapons to protect the dignity and sovereignty of the country as well as the citizens… North Korea’s ultimate goal is to become the strongest nuclear power in the world,’ Kim declared. He described the Hwasong-17 intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) as the world’s most powerful strategic nuclear weapon. They said that this shows their determination and ability to build a strong army. Also, North Korean scientists have made great progress in the development of technology for mounting nuclear warheads on ballistic missiles.
Meanwhile, North Korea has tested eight intercontinental ballistic missiles and dozens of long- and medium-range missiles so far this year. It is known that North Korea has been conducting a series of missile tests in response to the joint military exercises being conducted by the US and South Korea around the Korean Peninsula. As a part of this, an intercontinental ballistic missile with a range of about 15,000 kilometers was launched last Friday. This missile, which can carry nuclear weapons, has the ability to destroy the main territories of America.
In September, Kim declared North Korea an unstoppable nuclear power. Since then, the US has dramatically increased regional security cooperation. It is in this order that South Korea is conducting joint military maneuvers under the name of “Vigilant Storm”.
However, the United Nations banned North Korea from testing ballistic missiles and nuclear weapons less than a few years ago. In response to similar tests conducted in the past, strict sanctions were imposed on the country.
