The Royal Commission for Al-Ula Governorate revealed the start of the study and review of the artworks in the old town, which were selected among the best tourist villages in the world for the year 2022, by conducting study and restoration work with a team of experts, which aims to reveal the various details and architecture in the town.
The studies included the discovery of murals with geometric motifs, and other images that highlight a variety of elements of daily life, such as mosques, houses, markets, and many material elements, which express the cultural value that these images and drawings reduce.
Engravings and designs
The old town contains the various inscriptions and designs engraved on the walls of the houses, in addition to the colors of the various various connotations, and what the research conducted by the Royal Commission for Al-Ula Governorate revealed about the elements and details of folklore in the Al-Ula community.
