The constable shed tears in front of his superiors saying that this tragedy happened because he was not given leave. The incident took place in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh.Sonu Chaudhary from Mathura is working as a constable in Baidpur. On January 7, he made a request to his superiors to take leave to take care of his wife and two-and-a-half-year-old son who underwent surgery. However, leave was not granted. He attended his duties on Wednesday (January 11) afternoon. Wife is sick at home. Son Harshit went out of the house and fell into the water hole while playing.
