Those who buy tickets to watch the World Cup match and are unable to watch the match? Opportunity for resale

Qatar: If you buy a ticket to watch a FIFA World Cup match in Qatar and lose it for any reason, there is an opportunity to sell the ticket through the re-sale platform. The authorities have prepared such a system so that those who cannot watch the matches do not lose money. An opportunity has been provided for them to sell tickets through FIFA’s official ticket re-sale platform. The time allowed to sell tickets is till 16th of this month. Tickets bought in advance can be sold in this way. An opportunity for resale has been prepared until 12 noon Qatar local time on 16th of this month. FIFA officials have clarified that the re-sale platform will be opened again as the tournament approaches.

Facilitation for sale of tickets through re-sale platform is only for getting fixed amount as refund. This facility is available only if the ticket is sold through the re-sale platform. Illegal buying or selling of FIFA World Cup tickets will face strict legal action. If you buy or sell tickets illegally, you will have to pay a fine of 250,000 riyals. But the owner who has purchased the ticket can sell any number of tickets through the re-sale platform.

If the ticket holder wants to sell his own tickets, he must submit all the tickets he has purchased. There is no guarantee that tickets submitted on the re-sale platform will be sold. FIFAC has sole authority over tickets submitted for sale. FIFA is not responsible if the ticket goes on sale on the re-sale platform and is not sold. FIFA will not be responsible for any financial loss if the ticket is not withdrawn before the stipulated time. Guests will not be allowed to watch the match unless accompanied by the original ticket holder.
