New Delhi: All the tickets for the 2nd Test cricket match between India and Australia are sold out.
Border-Gavaskar Trophy 4-Test series between India and Australia is underway. The Indian team won the first Test in Nagpur by an innings and 132 runs. With this, the Indian team has taken a 1-0 lead in the Test series. In this case, the 2nd Test will begin on the 17th at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
All the tickets for this 40 thousand seater stadium are sold out. The reason for this is that the Test match is going to be held in Delhi after 5 years. The last international Test match was held at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in December 2017. After that the Test match is going to be held now.
Delhi District Cricket Association Joint Secretary Rajan Manchanda says, “All the tickets for the 2nd Test have been sold out. We expect fans to fill the entire stadium. There is a lot of interest among the fans as the Test match is being held in Delhi after a long time,” he said.
24 thousand tickets have been sold to fans. 8 thousand tickets have been given to members of Delhi Cricket Association. The rest of the tickets will be given to dignitaries attending the match. A section of the gallery at the stadium is reserved for families who provide security for cricket matches.
