Till Lindemann (60) has the last word, it seems.
Also on the third and last The concert in Berlin went well for Rammstein: More than 60,000 fans celebrated the band on Tuesday in the sold-out Olympic Stadium. 22 songs and two hours long.
But before singer Till Lindemann turned his back on the concert stage, he addressed his fans again: “And always remember: You don’t believe bad tongues. The truth will come out anyway.”
All three Rammstein concerts in the Berlin Olympic Stadium were sold out
The last sentence comes from the Rammstein hit “Lügen”, but should again be related to the current one allegations against the band.
Already at the two Berlin concerts at the weekend, Lindemann had a few Song lines rewritten like thisthat they were interpreted as a comment on the allegations against him.
“And the birds no longer sing” from the song “Ohne Dich” became: “And the singers no longer fuck”. In the song “Fear” Lindemann made the line “Everyone is afraid of the black man” on Saturday “Everyone is afraid of Lindemann”. At this third concert he dispensed with such rewritings.
Police were present in several places throughout Tuesday’s performance. As can be seen in this photo, there were protests and individual bullying on Saturday and two arrests on Sunday
Several women throw Lindemann claims to have lured her to his private after-show party and made her sexually pliable with alcohol and even knockout drops. Lindemann himself and the band Rammstein deny all allegations.
Rammstein celebrated in the fetish club
Berlin’s Interior Senator Iris Spranger (61, SPD) intervened after the allegations against the band and made sure in June that Rammstein are not allowed to celebrate after-show parties in municipal properties. So the band had to leave the Olympic Stadium to celebrate – and on Sunday moved to Berlin’s Kitkat Club, which is known for its liberality.
This is now causing trouble in the Berlin club scene. The DJ Iva Bodul played from Sunday to Monday in the Kitkat Club and criticized in her Instagram-Story that Lindemann was admitted. “Unfortunately, the whole thing has a very shitty aftertaste,” writes Bodul.
DJ Iva Bodul published an email from the Kitkat club on Instagram
She also published an email from the club to her, apparently from Kitkat operator Kirsten Krüger. The letter says that Rammstein is “a difficult topic right now because you don’t know too much.” Lindemann has been to the club a few times in recent years. “That’s why he knows the security staff.” In the club, however, “never happened that was questionable”.
Another allegation: Allegedly, Lindemann was not checked at the entrance. Guests’ bags are also usually searched for knockout drops. As the “ Berlin newspaper” reported, the operator Krüger could not answer the question of whether Lindemann had been checked. “The bag check takes place in the club, not outside. Not all bags are checked either, the rush of visitors sometimes doesn’t allow it,” says Krüger.
The Berlin concert on Tuesday was the last Rammstein concert of the current tour in Germany. Now the band is going to Paris, followed by two shows in Vienna. The last three performances in Brussels follow at the beginning of August – also in front of a sold-out house.
