TIMS: The Telangana government says that they are giving a lot of attention to the medical sector. Accordingly, CM KCR and Health Minister Harish Rao have made it clear several times in the past that they are bringing revolutionary changes in the medical field. He said that eight medical colleges have already been started in the state and arrangements will be made for one medical college in each district. Hospitals are being built in remote areas and medical assistance is being provided to the poor.
A hospital named TIMS (Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences) was built in the fruit market area of Kottapet, Hyderabad. This hospital will be the highest government hospital in the country. It is reported that this hospital, which is being built on an area of 11.5 lakh square feet, is 123 meters high and has 27 floors. A model building for that has come out.
Government sources reveal that if the construction of this hospital is completed, it will stand as the highest hospital among private and government hospitals in the country. While the construction of this hospital will be undertaken at a cost of Rs. 668 crores, the L&T company has won the construction tender. Telangana is building hospitals in Alwal and Sanatnagar along with LB Nagar under the name of TIMS. The government has decided to build super specialty hospitals with a capacity of 1000 beds in each hospital.
