Due to solar eclipse (October 25) and lunar eclipse (November 8), Tirumala Srivenkateswara Swamy’s temple doors will be closed for 12 hours. There will be a solar eclipse on October 25 from 5.11 pm to 6.27 pm. The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) said that the doors of the Srivari temple will be kept closed from 8.11 am to 7.30 pm on that day.
On this occasion, TTD said that the services like Kalyanotsavam, Oonjalseva, ArjithaBrahmotsavam, Sahasradipalankara along with the darshan of break darshan, Srivani, Rs.300 special entrance darshan, darshan of the elderly, disabled, parents of orphans, defense personnel and NRIs will be cancelled.
TTD said that during the rest of the day, only Sarvadarshanam devotees will be allowed to visit. It is said that the lunar eclipse will take place on November 8 from 2.39 pm to 6.27 pm. On that day, the doors of Srivari temple will be closed from 8.40 am to 7.20 pm. On this occasion as well, TTD has made plans to cancel all special darshans and allow only Sarvadarshan devotees for darshan during the rest of the day.
