After the alleged video of the sting operation on Sandeshkhali went viral, Trinamool Congress (TMC) has filed a complaint with the Election Commission against BJP leaders including National Commission for Women (NCW) chief Rekha Sharma and Piyali Das. .
Trinamool Congress (TMC) has demanded criminal action against all of them for committing serious crimes of forgery, cheating, intimidation and criminal conspiracy on the innocent women of Sandeshkhali. A statement issued by Trinamool Congress (TMC) said that it has filed a formal complaint with the Election Commission against National Commission for Women (NCW) Chairperson Rekha Sharma over allegations of atrocities on women in Sandeshkhali, West Bengal.
The NCW had recommended to President Draupadi Murmu that President’s rule be imposed in West Bengal over the alleged violence and atrocities on women in Sandeshkhali. West Bengal minister and TMC spokesperson Shashi Panja said that TMC has filed a complaint against Rekha Sharma with the Election Commission.
TMC has already moved the Election Commission against National Commission for Women Chairperson Rekha Sharma and accused her of allegedly raping some women of Sandeshkhali against TMC leaders of Sandeshkhali. He had talked about filing a complaint and in this way he had misused his position. Panja said that TMC has already filed a complaint with the Election Commission against BJP and Leader of Opposition in West Bengal Assembly Subhendu Adhikari on such allegations.
