Meta has announced an increase in the length of the short video clips, “Reels” for its “Facebook” platform, to 90 seconds, in addition to other creative tools.
The “Rails” clips on Facebook were limited to only 60 seconds before the new update, while the “Rails” clips on the Instagram service had their limit raised to 90 seconds months ago, according to a report by the “Arab Gate for Technical News” website.
This step comes from “Meta”, following the announcement of its most prominent competitor, “Tik Tok”, to raise the limit for video clips to 10 minutes instead of 3 minutes.
New features
Meta has also launched more creative tools, such as the new Templates feature that allows users to create Rails using popular templates.

The feature, which was launched to Instagram users last year, allows Facebook users to create “Reels” using the same structure they see in other clips.
