US billionaire Elon Musk said that Twitter’s new “X” logo will appear later in the day.
And he added in his tweet, “X.COM” has become the new address for Twitter in addition to the current address.
Earlier, Musk said he was looking forward to changing the Twitter platform’s logo for social networking, and wrote on the platform he owns, “We will soon bid farewell to the Twitter brand, and gradually all the birds.”
Musk added in a tweet today, Sunday: “If a good enough logo is published tonight, we will launch it around the world tomorrow,” according to Reuters.
Musk posted a picture with a flashing “X” in the English language, without giving further details. The company has not yet responded to a request for comment.
Under Musk’s vocal leadership of the platform since its purchase in October, the company has changed its business name to XCorp, reflecting the billionaire’s vision of developing a “super app” on the model of China’s WeChat.
