In fact he had no intention of doing a rosary at first. Branson made the decision when Bezos announced his trip. The expedition set out on July 11 with the intention of being ahead of the business rival. He became the first billionaire to fly into space on a self-propelled spacecraft. Bezos is organizing the trip in this context.
The ‘New Shepherd’ expedition will be one step ahead of the rival company in terms of sub-orbital missions. The Unity-22 spacecraft, owned by Branson, is known to have reached an altitude of about 88 km above the ground. The Bezos spacecraft will fly at an altitude of 106 km. There is no specific definition of where space begins after it crosses the Earth’s atmosphere. By American standards it starts at an altitude of 80 kilometers.
Taking this as a standard, Branson went to an altitude of 88 km. However, the Federation of Aeronautical Internationals (FAI) has defined spacecraft as starting after 100 km. In this context, Blue Origin stated that they will go beyond 100 kilometers to see without any ambiguity on their spaceflight. The ‘New Shepherd’ is a fully self-propelled aircraft carrier. Hence there is no need for pilots.
The New Shepherd will take off from launch site One in a remote part of the western Texas desert at 6:30 pm Indian time on Tuesday. Bezos will be accompanied by three others on the trip. Female pilot Valley Funk (82) will set a record as the world’s oldest astronaut. 18-year-old Oliver Demon .. will be recognized as the youngest person to go into space. Bezos’ brother Mark is also going on the trip.
