There is a close contest for the presidential election between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump. US elections are being held today i.e. Tuesday November 5, 2024. Voting will begin at around 4.30 pm IST on November 5 and will continue till 6.30 am on November 6. However, in most states, voting centers have opened between 7 am and 9 am local time. Whereas more than 75 million people have already cast their votes to elect the next President of America. This number is almost half of the total votes cast in 2020.
According to the information received, the results are expected to start coming a few hours after voting closes at 7 pm Eastern Time (00:00 GMT). However, votes will be counted faster in some states than others. Since voting in western states will close several hours later, their first results will start coming in later.
