Three tourists got in touch three days after the loss in the area of Mount Falaza. This was reported on Tuesday, September 28, by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for the Primorsky Territory.
“The women who got lost while climbing Mount Falaza were able to contact the rescuers and said that they were next to the power line (PTL),” the ministry said in a statement.
As noted on the website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, additional forces of rescuers on ATVs were sent to the indicated area – they are examining the area along the power line.
The search for the women lost on September 25 continues. The operation involves the rescuers of the Nakhodka search and rescue squad: 17 people and 8 pieces of equipment.
The message that in the Shkotovsky region three women who went on a hike went missing were received by the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations on September 27.
Mount Falaza is considered one of the most beautiful peaks in the region – its height is 1279 m, in connection with which there are many routes of varying difficulty.
