Chennai. Indo-Japanese joint venture Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd reported a 41 per cent growth in sales of 174,015 units in the financial year 2022-23. According to the company, it sold 18,670 units last month, which is higher than the sales of 17,131 units in March 2022.
The company said the major contributor to the growth was the uptick in demand for the recently launched Innova Highcross, Urban Cruiser Header, the new Innova Crysta and Hilux.
The passenger vehicles segment witnessed steady growth last year and TKM (Toyota Kirloskar Motor) was poised to make deep inroads into the market to meet various mobility needs, said Atul Sood, Vice President, Sales & Strategic Marketing, the company.(IANS)
